Two updates this time: a batch of new templates, and a set of changes that make getting your form live, then getting it seen, a lot clearer.
21 new templates
The library is now 79 templates. Recent additions include kitchen fitters, carpenters, builders, window and door installation, drain unblocking, gutter cleaning, oven cleaning, scaffolding, commercial cleaning, couriers, self storage, IT support, mortgage brokers, physiotherapy, chiropractors and interior design.
We also went back through several existing templates and made the pricing smarter. A builder’s quote now charges a different rate per square metre depending on whether it’s a loft conversion, a garage conversion or a new build, rather than one rate for everything. The estimate your customer sees lands much closer to the real number.
Knowing when you’re actually live
A few changes here, all from watching where people got stuck.
The publish control now tells you what it does. It says plainly whether a form is visible only to you or live and taking quotes, and reminds you that saving is what actually applies it.
When a form does go live, you get a proper moment: a bit of confetti, and immediately the three ways to get it in front of people. A shareable link, the embed code for your website, and a QR code you can download and print on a van, a flyer or a business card. Publishing isn’t the win. Being seen is.
And if you’ve made changes without saving, your browser now warns you before you navigate away, instead of quietly losing the lot.
As ever, if something isn’t working the way you’d expect, reply to any Quotify email and it comes straight to us.
