ABOUT THIS TEMPLATE

A bookkeeping and accounting quote template that gives prospects a realistic monthly fee based on their turnover, business structure and the services they actually need. It proves the point that Quotify is not just for physical jobs: desk-based professional services quote instantly too, and often benefit most from doing so.

Accountancy is a “prices on application” industry, and that hesitation costs firms leads. A prospect comparing practices wants to know if they’re a £150-a-month client or a £500-a-month one before they commit to a meeting. This template gives them that number, filters out the mismatches, and sends you enquiries that already understand roughly what they’ll pay.

Who this template is for

Bookkeepers, accountants and accountancy practices who want to publish indicative pricing without committing to a rigid public price list. It works for a sole trader wanting basic bookkeeping right through to a limited company needing the full monthly package.

What the form asks

Turnover band, business structure (sole trader, partnership, limited company), and the monthly services required (bookkeeping, VAT returns, payroll, self-assessment, software subscription). You can extend it with number of employees, transaction volume, industry or year-end date using Quotify’s supported question types and conditional questions.

How to customise it for your business

Plug in your own base fees per turnover band and structure, and your monthly price for each service. For the case for putting a number in front of prospects, see should you display prices on your website, and for the mechanics, how pricing logic works. Once it’s ready, embed it on your website or share a direct link with new enquiries.

COMMON QUESTIONS

  • How should I price bookkeeping and accounting services?

Most practices price by a mix of client size (turnover), business structure and the specific services on the engagement. The Quotify template uses a turnover band and structure to set a base monthly fee, then adds the services the client selects (bookkeeping, VAT, payroll, self-assessment, software), so they see a realistic monthly figure rather than 'prices on application'.

  • Can I show a monthly recurring price instead of a one-off?

Yes. This template is built for monthly pricing, which is how most modern practices package their work. The total presents as a per-month fee, so a prospect immediately understands the ongoing cost rather than a single number they can't place in context.

  • Can I bundle services like VAT, payroll and self-assessment?

Yes. Each service is a selectable option with its own price, so a sole trader wanting bookkeeping and self-assessment pays for those two, while a growing Ltd adding VAT and payroll sees the fee rise accordingly. You control every rate.

  • Does Quotify only work for physical, on-site trade jobs?

Not at all. Quotify works just as well for desk-based professional services. The same instant-quote logic that prices a plumbing job prices a monthly accounting engagement, and arguably matters more here, because fee transparency is exactly what puts nervous prospects off picking up the phone.

  • Can the form qualify a lead before I get on a call?

Yes. By the time an enquiry reaches you it already carries turnover, structure and the services wanted, so you know whether it's a fit and roughly what it's worth before you spend time on a call. You can route larger prospects to a different notification if you want to prioritise them.
