ABOUT THIS TEMPLATE

A purpose-built branding and logo design quote template that helps studios and freelance designers price identity projects by scope, deliverables and turnaround in one place, and stop sending bespoke proposal PDFs for every enquiry.

Branding enquiries come in radically different shapes: a startup needs a logo by Friday; an established business wants a full identity refresh with guidelines, social kit and stationery. This template handles both by walking prospects through the scope decisions that drive the price and producing a realistic estimate at the end.

Who this template is for

Studios, freelance brand designers and agencies offering logo design, visual identity systems or full brand strategy work. If you sell tiered packages (Lite / Standard / Full) or charge by deliverable, this template prices them in a single form.

What the form asks

Project type (logo-only, identity system, rebrand), scope tier, deliverables (guidelines, social kit, stationery, packaging), revision rounds, turnaround urgency. You can extend with any of Quotify’s supported question types: business stage, industry, current brand pain-points, budget range.

How to customise it for your business

Plug in your own per-tier base rates, per-deliverable add-ons and rush multipliers. For more on structuring per-project quotes, see how to price your project and should you display prices on your website. Use conditional questions to show logo-only flows vs full-system flows, then embed it on your website or share a direct link.

COMMON QUESTIONS

  • How should I price a branding project?

Most studios price by scope tier (logo-only, logo + basic brand, full identity system) with multipliers for rush turnarounds and extra revision rounds. The Quotify branding template combines a base rate per scope tier with per-round and per-deliverable add-ons so the price scales with the work, not the conversation.

  • Can I quote both logo-only jobs and full identity systems in one form?

Yes. Use a conditional question on project type to reveal different follow-ups. For logo-only, ask about usage and rounds; for full identity, ask about deliverables (typography system, colour palette, brand guidelines, social kit, stationery). Leads pick their tier and only see the questions that apply.

  • How do I price revision rounds without scaring off clients?

Include two rounds in the base price (most projects need them) and add an explicit per-extra-round add-on with a clear price. Clients see exactly what's included and what isn't, which actually reduces revision creep: they know each ask after round two has a number attached.

  • What about brand guidelines documents: should they be separate?

Treat the guidelines doc as an optional add-on with a fixed price (typically 20–30% of the identity base). Some clients want a one-page logo usage sheet; others want a 40-page system. Letting them choose keeps your base rate competitive while capturing the upside when they want the full document.

  • Can the form pre-qualify the brief so I don't waste a discovery call?

Yes. Add long-text questions for current brand pain-points and target customer, plus a budget range question. The free-text fields land in your inbox alongside the quote, so by the time the first call happens you already know whether the brief is real and whether the budget is in range.
