Handyman enquiries are broad and a bit shapeless: "can you help with a few bits round the house?" This template turns that into something you can actually price by asking for the jobs and the time, so the message that reaches you already tells you whether it's an afternoon or a full day.
A handyman quote template built to catch the huge "I just need a few jobs done" audience. Customers pick a time block, tick exactly the jobs they need, from flat-pack to fence repairs, and get a price, so a vague enquiry turns into a scoped, ready-to-book one.
Handymen and property maintenance sole traders, and small firms offering odd-jobs and repairs. If your work is a mix of quick fixes and half-day lists, this template prices both and captures the task list up front.

Your questions, answered

01 How should I price handyman work?
Most handymen price by time (an hourly rate, or half-day and full-day rates) with a minimum call-out, then let the customer describe the jobs. The Quotify template lets people pick a time block and tick the specific tasks they need, so you get a scoped enquiry rather than a vague 'a few odd jobs'.
-
02 Can customers pick exactly which jobs they need doing?
Yes, and it's the whole point. Add a multi-select of common jobs (flat-pack assembly, shelves and pictures, TV mounting, small repairs, fence and gate fixes, tap swaps) so the enquiry arrives with the list attached and you can judge the time before you reply.
-
03 Can I set half-day and full-day rates with a minimum call-out?
Yes. Offer hourly, half-day and full-day options, each priced accordingly, plus a minimum charge so a single 20-minute job is still worth the trip. Customers self-select the block that fits their list.
-
04 What about materials?
Keep the quote to labour and note that materials are extra, or add a rough materials allowance as an optional line. Most handymen price labour up front and settle materials on the day, and the form supports either.
-
05 Do I need a website to use this template?
No. Handyman work is won on 'handyman near me' searches and local groups, so share a direct link anywhere, or use a Quotify-hosted landing page. If you have a site, the form embeds in minutes.
-
06 Is there a downloadable handyman quote template?
Yes. As well as the free online version, you can buy the handyman quote pack as a spreadsheet for £7. It opens in Excel, Google Sheets or Apple Numbers, with the pricing maths already built in and a branded quote you can export to PDF. Buy once and it's yours to keep.
