01 How much does scaffolding cost to hire?
A chimney or small access tower typically starts around £350, a single elevation £500, and a full house wrap £1,400 for a standard six-week hire. Height and how long you keep it up move the price most.

02 Why does the number of lifts change the price?
Each lift is another level of standards, ledgers and boards, plus more labour to erect and dismantle. Ground level is the baseline, with each additional lift adding to both the build and the hire.

03 What happens if I need it for longer than six weeks?
Most quotes include a standard hire period, usually six weeks, then charge for extended hire. This template prices up to 6 weeks, up to 12 weeks, 3 to 6 months and 6 months plus, so the customer picks before they ask.

04 Do I need a licence for scaffolding on the pavement?
Yes. Anything standing on a pavement or road needs a highway licence from the local council, and it is normally the scaffolder who arranges it. It is priced here as an extra so it never gets forgotten.
