Paving is an area job, but the enquiries never arrive with measurements, just "how much to do my drive?" This template hands the maths to the customer: they enter the size, pick the material, add the groundwork, and see a number that reflects the real scope instead of a guess you'll have to walk back later.
A driveway and patio paving quote template that prices by the square metre across block paving, resin-bound and natural stone, with the groundwork that actually drives the cost (excavation, drainage, edging) priced in. The customer gets a real ballpark before you've left the yard.
Driveway and patio installers, block-paving specialists, resin-bound contractors and landscapers who lay hard surfaces. It works for a small back patio just as well as a full block-paved drive, because the price scales with the area and the spec, not the postcode.

01 How should I price a driveway or patio?
Most paving is priced by area (m²) and the material going down, then topped up with the groundwork that decides the real cost: excavation, sub-base, drainage and edging. The Quotify driveway and patio template takes the area, sets a per-m² rate from the material, and adds the prep and finishing as their own line items.
-
02 Can I quote block paving, resin and natural stone from one form?
Yes. A single material question sets the per-m² rate, so block paving, resin-bound and natural stone all run through the same form at their own prices. The area calculator scales each one as the customer enters their measurements.
-
03 How do I handle excavation, sub-base and drainage?
Add them as options priced per m² or as a flat fee. Groundwork is where paving jobs quietly gain or lose money, so pricing dig-out, sub-base depth and drainage (a soakaway or channel drain) explicitly keeps the estimate honest rather than a hopeful round number.
-
04 What about edging, kerbs and finishing?
Add edging as a per-linear-metre or flat add-on, plus options for kerbs, block borders or a sealant coat. The customer builds up the spec themselves and sees the price move as they do.
-
05 Do I need a website to use this template?
No. You can share a direct link in your Checkatrade profile, on social media or by text. If you do have a site, embedding the form on your driveways page takes a couple of minutes.
-
06 Is there a downloadable driveway & patio paving quote template?
Yes. As well as the free online version, you can buy the driveway & patio paving quote pack as a spreadsheet for £7. It opens in Excel, Google Sheets or Apple Numbers, with the pricing maths already built in and a branded quote you can export to PDF. Buy once and it's yours to keep.
