Plastering is an area job, but the enquiries never come with measurements. This template hands the maths to the customer: they give the size, choose the work, add any prep, and see a price that reflects the real scope rather than a guess you have to revisit once you've seen it.
A plasterer quote template that prices skimming, re-plastering and rendering by the square metre. The customer enters the wall or ceiling size, picks the job, and gets a figure back, so "how much to skim my living room?" is answered before you've been out to measure it.
Plasterers and renderers working solo or in small crews, and multi-trade firms that want a dedicated plastering form. It works for a single skimmed ceiling just as well as a full-house re-plaster, because the price scales with the area.

01 How should I price plastering?
Most plasterers price by area (m²) and the type of work: a skim over sound plaster is not the same as a full re-plaster or an external render. The Quotify template takes the wall or ceiling size, sets a per-m² rate from the job type, and adds prep and extras on top.
-
02 Can I quote skimming, re-plastering and rendering from one form?
Yes. A job-type question sets the per-m² rate, so a quick skim, a full re-plaster and external rendering all run through the same form at their own prices. The area calculator scales each as the customer enters their measurements.
-
03 How do I handle prep, like removing old plaster or dot-and-dab?
Add prep as options priced per m² or as a flat fee: hacking off old plaster, dot-and-dab boarding, scrim and beading. Prep is where plastering jobs quietly overrun, so pricing it explicitly keeps the estimate honest.
-
04 Does it work for a single ceiling and a whole house?
Yes. Because the price is driven by area, it scales cleanly from a single 12m² ceiling to a full re-plaster, so one form covers your whole range of jobs.
-
05 Do I need a website to use this template?
No. You can share a direct link in your Checkatrade or MyBuilder profile, on social media or by text. If you do have a site, embedding the form takes a couple of minutes.
-
06 Is there a downloadable plasterer quote template?
Yes. As well as the free online version, you can buy the plasterer quote pack as a spreadsheet for £7. It opens in Excel, Google Sheets or Apple Numbers, with the pricing maths already built in and a branded quote you can export to PDF. Buy once and it's yours to keep.
