ABOUT THIS TEMPLATE
A plasterer quote template that prices skimming, re-plastering and rendering by the square metre. The customer enters the wall or ceiling size, picks the job, and gets a figure back, so “how much to skim my living room?” is answered before you’ve been out to measure it.
Plastering is an area job, but the enquiries never come with measurements. This template hands the maths to the customer: they give the size, choose the work, add any prep, and see a price that reflects the real scope rather than a guess you have to revisit once you’ve seen it.
Who this template is for
Plasterers and renderers working solo or in small crews, and multi-trade firms that want a dedicated plastering form. It works for a single skimmed ceiling just as well as a full-house re-plaster, because the price scales with the area.
What the form asks
The area in m² via the area calculator (length × width), the job type (skim, re-plaster, render, board and skim), and prep and extras: removing old plaster, dot-and-dab, coving, beading. You can extend it with room count, ceiling height or a postcode for travel.

How should I price plastering?
Most plasterers price by area (m²) and the type of work: a skim over sound plaster is not the same as a full re-plaster or an external render. The Quotify template takes the wall or ceiling size, sets a per-m² rate from the job type, and adds prep and extras on top.

Add prep as options priced per m² or as a flat fee: hacking off old plaster, dot-and-dab boarding, scrim and beading. Prep is where plastering jobs quietly overrun, so pricing it explicitly keeps the estimate honest.

Does it work for a single ceiling and a whole house?
Yes. Because the price is driven by area, it scales cleanly from a single 12m² ceiling to a full re-plaster, so one form covers your whole range of jobs.
