This template moves the conversation to a real estimate before you've left the yard, so when you do quote, you're talking to someone with realistic expectations.

01 How should I price tiling work?
Most tilers price by area (m²), tile type and pattern complexity, with surcharges for prep, removal of existing tiles and specialist work like underfloor heating. The Quotify tiler template lets you set a per-m² base rate, apply multipliers for tile type and pattern, and add fixed fees for the extras.

02 Can I quote both small splashbacks and full bathroom suites?
Yes, the area calculator handles everything from a 1m² kitchen splashback to a 100m² commercial floor. The 'What's the job?' question sets the base rate (bathroom vs kitchen vs wet room vs patio), and the area question scales the price linearly from there.

03 How do I handle pattern complexity (herringbone, mosaic)?
Add a 'Pattern' radio with options from straight (standard rate) through diagonal, herringbone and mosaic, each with a multiplier. Herringbone usually adds 20-30%, mosaic 40-60%. The template has these built in but the percentages are yours to tune.

04 What about supplying tiles vs the customer supplying?
Add an optional 'Tile supply' question (customer supplies / we supply). When 'we supply' is selected, you can apply a markup or quote the materials separately. The template's structure supports either approach.

05 Do I need a website to use this template?
No. You can share a direct link in your trade-directory profile (Checkatrade, MyBuilder), social media or via email. If you do have a site, embedding the form on your services page takes a minute.
